BOB DYLAN AS SINATRA 2015 fine art print / edition of 20 (SOLD OUT)
Everyone has covered Bob Dylan songs. But if you Google Frank Sinatra sings Dylan, the search results are backwards: it's all Dylan singing Frank. In late 2014 the world's foremost anti-crooner announced he was recording a sincere tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes, entitled Shadows in the Night. We haven't heard it yet, but we're confident that the renditions of Sinatra classics will be idiosyncratic, and that some Sinatra fans will likely cover their ears and avert their eyes. Nelson Riddle could not be reached for comment.

But don't assume for a second that Dylan's being ironic or kitschy. In his autobiography, Dylan wrote that Sinatra's recording of "Ebb Tide" had "never failed to fill me with awe." And by invitation of the guest of honor, Dylan performed at Sinatra's 80th birthday party in 1995.

Drew Friedman, a fan of both iconic singers, found the subject matter irresistible and undertook a portrait. Dylan is now an honorary member of the Rat Pack.

We have produced a limited edition of twenty (20) hand-numbered prints, which are signed and hand-titled by the artist. Prints are offered on a first-come basis. Once the edition is sold out, there will be no further fine art prints of this work.
