Description
We received a number of inquiries about whether Drew Friedman’s portrait of a geriatric Bob Dylan, which recently appeared in The Wall Street Journal, would be issued as a fine art print. We do not ordinarily offer Drew’s topical illustrations as prints, but due to a small but determined demand, Drew decided to make a VERY limited exception in this case.
We are producing an edition of ten (10) hand-numbered prints, which will be signed and titled by the artist and offered to preferred customers on a first-come basis. These will NOT be offered to the general public. There is no limitation (up to ten) on the number of prints any single customer can buy, so if you want one reserved, please respond ASAP. Once the edition is sold out, there will be no further prints of this work.
The work originally appeared in the December 3, 2010 issue of the WSJ accompanying the article “When To Leave the Stage,”: sub-headed: “A generation of music icons is hitting retirement age, along with their baby-boomer fans. Is it time for Bob Dylan to hang up his hat and harmonica?”
